Stella Lwanga is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services to adolescents and adults. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowie State University in 2018 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry from Walden University in 2021.
 
Stella has extensive experience caring for individuals across the full lifespan, with a strong passion for supporting those living with both mental health and substance use challenges. Her clinical expertise includes treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and substance use recovery.
 
Her approach to care combines medication management with motivational, cognitive-behavioral, and supportive strategies. She is committed to cultural humility, collaboration, and whole-person healing — ensuring every client feels seen, understood, and empowered throughout their journey.
 
Stella is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) and holds Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) certification, allowing her to provide comprehensive and recovery-focused support for individuals navigating opioid use disorders.
 
Outside of clinical practice, Stella enjoys baking, working out, and spending quality time with her family, which keeps her grounded, motivated, and connected to what matters most in life.

Dr. Jordan C. Calabrese
Psychiatrist

Calabrese is a distinguished double board-certified psychiatrist whose clinical practice, leadership, research interests, and educational contributions reflect his unwavering commitment to advancing patient care and improving mental health outcomes.

 

Dr. Calabrese earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Miami before completing his medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2014. He went on to complete his Psychiatry Residency at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida, where he served as Chief Resident. In 2023, he concluded specialized fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry at the University of Kansas Medical Center. With a dedicated passion for treating individuals with substance use disorders, Dr. Calabrese serves as both a provider and medical director for a multistate behavioral health organization. In addition to his clinical work, he offers psychiatric consultation services and holds multiple leadership and advisory roles within the field.

 

Dr. Calabrese is also deeply committed to medical education and mentorship. He has served as an Affiliated Lecturer for HCA Graduate Medical Education programs, presenting on psychiatric and addiction treatment modalities to future
physicians. He has contributed to several local, regional, and national conferences-including presentations at the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting-and his publications span a diverse range of topics, including adolescent opioid use disorder, dissociative identity disorder, anti-craving pharmacotherapy in alcohol use disorder, and emerging therapeutic considerations in neurotrauma. Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Calabrese enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, cooking, reading, working out, and training in Jiu-Jitsu.
